Research Institute for Marine Fisheries; Ipek Kurtboke group at Univesity of the Sunshine Coast

My education and experience include a master degree focusing on microbiology and a PhD degree in Microbiology, along with twelve years of experience in microbiology at the Research Institute for Marine Fisheries. My doctoral thesis focused on bacteriophage therapy against bacterial infection in aquatic animals, under the principal supervisor of Dr. Ipek Kurtboke at The University of the Sunshine Coast Australia. I am also the first author of 2019 Australian provisional patent No. 2019900622 “Vibrio phages and uses thereof”. Currently, I am a principal investigator of the project on bacteriophage prevention for hepatopancreatic necrosis disease on white-leg shrimp. I am looking for an opportunity to work/research in the bacteriophage field.
