Enrique González-Tortuero
University of Salford; James LabI'm a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salford, UK, working on the "Prophage Puppet Masters" project, which aims to understand how Pseudomonas aeruginosa Liverpool Epidemics Strain (LES) prophages interact between them and might manipulate the host physiology and metabolism. I have previous experience working in the bioinformatic analyses of host-parasite/pathogen interactions, as well as, I was involved in the development of the viral genomic pipeline tool VIGA. Currently, I'm involved in the bioinformatic analyses of the interactions between the LES prophages and their host. I'm interested in identifying potential collaborators for future projects concerning viral bioinformatics and its application.
