Akkaraphol Srichaisupakit, PhD Eng

Kasetsart University; Kasetsart Phages

I am isolating and adding to the collection on ESKAPE pathogen’s phage using clinical isolates from contributors locating in northeastern Thailand. So far I have been working on phages infecting MDR and carbapenem resistant Pseudomonas, Klebsiella and E. coli. which the characterization of them is ongoing. Would be glad to help screening your bacteria against the phage collection.

Recently, I am expanding the phage study for controlling and for safety of pathogenic bacteria in foods. Furthermore, I am looking into phages for biocontrol of bacterial diseases in aquatics.

TEM and SEM are available at the institute. Opening to all kinds of collaboration.
