BiomX analyzed a set of colorectal cancer tumour samples from patients, and found that 80% contained Fusobacterium nucleatum, which BiomX has been engineering phages to target. BiomX's phages are designed to deliver payloads that make tumours more susceptible to anti-cancer therapeutics.
