Currently I am working on a project funded by the Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt of India entitled “Screening lytic phages from diverse marine and aquatic niche for controlling bacterial pathogens associated with aquaculture and post-harvest fish quality”. We have isolated potent bacteriophages that were found effective against a broad range of AMR E. coli. The phage based formulations are being tested in market fish samples and aquaculture settings. I am interested to work on phage related Post-doctorate opportunities and careers.
