My team (Ibadan Bacteriophages Research Team) and I have been working as an active group under the HHMI early-career research initiative SEA-PHAGES, working to isolate and annotate novel soil-borne bacteriophages to contribute to the effort of the SEA-PHAGES initiative and also explore the role of Bacteriophage therapy in combatting Antimicrobial Resistant Bacterial Isolates common in the sub-Saharan region.
