Henrique Ribeiro

Henrique Ribeiro is a Research Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University. He is a researcher in the Advanced Biologicals and Phage Bioprocessing Research Group (Danish Malik Lab). Research is focused on bacteriophage product development and process design of new therapies for a wide range of applications and biocontrol applications. Our work is interdisciplinary with ongoing industry focused research projects and consultancy work across biotherapeutics, pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and cosmetics industries. The objective is to be an important player, contributing to a quick transition between the most recent discoveries in the field of phages and their therapeutic application, whether in health, veterinary or food control.
