Gabriele Martino, Msc in Plant Biotechnology
Università di TorinoI am a PhD candidate of the Biology and applied Biotechnologies course of the University of Turin. I am studying a phage biocontrol method to manage two plant diseases caused by Pseudomonas syringae, the kiwi bacterial canker (pv. actinidiae) and the halo blight of bean (pv. phaseolicola) in the context of the european project VIROPLANT. I am working in the IPSP CNR institute in Turin, and I will work for a period with our collaborators in Belgium, at KULEUVEN university. Now I have a little collection of strains and phages and I am beginning greenhouse experiments. I want to find research exchange opportunities and access to more information about the formulation of phage products.
