We are a research group started working on bacteriophages from 2013 and have developed a good progress till yet. Uptill now we have gathered expereince to work for phage isolation, characterization and genomic analysis against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, enterobacter cloacae and E.coli. Currently we are involved in isolation, general and genomic characterization to control poultry pathgoens. We are also working to modify the interested bacteriophages for enhancing their antibacterial potential in terms of increasing their host range etc. We are also working on using different bacteriophages proteins produced through recombinant DNA technology for their potential antibacterial and antibiofilm activities. We are very open to make collaborations for doing more interesting work on bacteriophages.
