Coffey Lab

My lab in CIT has concentrated on phages since 2002, before which I worked on phages in Teagasc (Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority). The group's work includes phage isolation, characterization, sequencing, bioinformatics, cloning of endolysins and we also have access to clinical targets. We have isolated phages against Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, E.coli, Pectobacterium, Mycobacterium, Cronobacter, Listeria and others.
