Center for Microbiology and Phage Therapy

The center focuses on the potential of using phages and their new biotechnology products, such as Endolysins in the treatment of bacterial infections in food, veterinary and human. We are aiming to develop new state-of-the-art products involving phages and to apply different viable forms of phages such as powders, sprays, wash and develop a new delivery system to combat antibiotic resistant bacteria and to treat challenging diseases, thus improving human and animal health.
