CECAV, located in Spain, is a center working for the agri-food sector that integrates all the the poultry production chain: feed manufacturing, primary production in farms and slaughterhouses.
The objective of CECAV is give to sector, in collaboration with the Public Administration, the necessary tools to guarantee Animal Health (especially poultry) and the quality of animal products (especially poultry), from feed manufacturing to slaughterhouses, including primary production on farms.
One of the main research lines in the R&D is the use of phages in the poultry sector.
