Postdoctoral position: microbial functional genomics at University at Buffalo (SUNY), Huang Lab in Buffalo, NY, USA The Huang Lab aims to advance our understanding of the gut microbiota at the molecular level by studying functions important for bacteria to colonize and survive in the gut habitat. We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc to lead research on carbon utilization in Bacteroidales or gut phages. We use multi-disciplinary approaches, including DNA barcoding, functional genomics, biochemistry, and bioinformatics.
