The Viruses of Microbes 2026 conference, held under the stewardship of the International Society for Viruses of Microbes (ISVM) and organised by CzechBio, ran in Prague, Czech Republic from July 6 to 10, 2026, with 600–800 participants expected. Its theme was "Revealing Novel Interactions, Innovations, and Applications", covering virus–host interactions, phage therapy and antimicrobial resistance, synthetic virology, bioinformatics and environmental and applied microbiology.
