The fifth Viral EcoGenomics and Applications symposium takes place November 18–19, 2026 at UC Berkeley, covering viral diversity, virus–host interactions and phage-based technologies for microbiome manipulation. Registration closes November 4: $300 general admission or $250 for students and postdocs. The October 30 poster-abstract deadline has passed.
