UC San Diego launches IPATH phage therapy center in 2018

UC San Diego announced the Center for Innovative Phage Applications and Therapeutics (IPATH) in June 2018, with a three-year, $1.2 million launch grant and plans to validate phage therapy for multidrug-resistant bacterial infections. Steffanie Strathdee and Robert Schooley were named co-directors.
