Tremont AI announces a research collaboration with AstraZeneca on AI models for preclinical toxicologic pathology

Boston-based Tremont AI, spun out of the Mahmood Lab at Mass General Brigham, announced a research collaboration with AstraZeneca to develop and evaluate AI solutions for accelerated safety screening in preclinical toxicologic pathology studies, using foundation models to read tissue images from drug safety studies. The release gives no financial terms and no performance results.
