STOA workshop at the European Parliament in Brussels on 30 September 2026 on advancing phage therapy as an evidence-based strategy against antimicrobial resistance, with attention to regulatory, clinical and practical hurdles and to multidrug-resistant infections from war-related injuries. The programme had a keynote on a wartime clinical case from Ukraine by Kārlis Rācenis (Rīga Stradiņš University) and a panel with speakers from ECDC, EMA, Yale and Phage Center Frankfurt, the Queen Astrid Military Hospital and the EUCAST phage susceptibility testing subcommittee. It was held in English only and recorded.
