Sentinel-X combines genome quality-control methods in Rust
Sentinel-X is a Rust toolkit for quality control of phage, microbial and eukaryotic genomes. It reimplements scoring from CheckV, CheckM2, BUSCO, EukCC and viralVerify alongside reference-free checks, producing TSV, JSON and HTML reports. It requires reference databases for those validators and is licensed for non-commercial use. The developers’ parity tests used miniature databases, and results can differ from the original tools.
