Self-funded PhD projects in phage biology and phage therapy — Becky Mayer Centre for Phage Research, University of Leicester

The University of Leicester's Becky Mayer Centre for Phage Research (College of Life Sciences; Dr Spyridon Megremis, A Millard, E Galyov, M Clokie) offers self-funded PhD projects covering all aspects of phage biology, from fundamental biology to translational phage therapy, including phage-derived products such as endolysins and the role of phage in respiratory disease. Applicants are directed to a principal investigator by area (urinary and gut, skin, respiratory, genetic engineering and phage genomics). Applications are accepted all year round; the projects are open to self-funded students only.
