Seeking Citrobacter phages for a sea turtle
On New Year's Eve, we got a request for Citrobacter phages to treat a sea turtle's antibiotic-resistant shell infection. If you can help, please email staff@phage.directory!
Update: THANK YOU to the labs of @GroseLab of BYU, @RandallJDeJong and @insectmicrobejr of Calvin College, @phage4lyfe of MSU, @BryanGibb2 of NYIT, and Ben Chan of Yale for offering to supply/test phages so far!
Thanks also to @chngin_the_wrld and @phagehunter of @ipath_ucsd for helping coordinate efforts!
Lastly, thanks to the 200+ people on Twitter who've helped spread the word about this turtle to 20,000+ people and counting!
