Samuel Greenrod (University of Oxford) and colleagues explored the effects of warming on the interaction between the P. aeruginosa and three diverse lytic phages. They found that while temperatures up to 40°C had minimal impact, 42°C significantly hindered phage infectivity due to disrupted attachment and replication processes.
