Four-month research fellowship (reference CEB-BI-50-2026) at the Centre of Biological Engineering, University of Minho (Braga), within the Horizon Europe project ASCLEPIUS, "Advancing phage Therapy to tackle respiratory infections". The workplan is to establish a platform for the genetic manipulation of bacteriophages to improve their antibiofilm properties. Candidates need a master's degree in biotechnology, microbiology, biological engineering, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or a related area and must be enrolled in a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering when contracted; experience in bacteriophage biotechnology and engineering is preferred. The grant is 1,359.64 EUR per month, with a provisional start in November 2026.
