Radical Numerics says Omnii-1-designed phages were given to a patient under compassionate use

Radical Numerics reports that phage variants designed with its Omnii-1 genome language model were administered to a patient with an antibiotic-resistant bacterial infection under an authorized, physician-led compassionate-use pathway, after a cocktail containing them eliminated the patient's isolate in vitro. The company calls it the first clinical use of AI-designed phages and does not disclose the patient's clinical course or outcome.
