Postdoctoral researcher in phage biology and microbiome therapeutics — UC San Diego

The Llorente Lab at UC San Diego is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for an NIH-funded programme on bacteriophage biology and microbiome-targeted therapies for gastrointestinal and liver disease. The work combines microbiology, molecular biology, patient-derived samples and preclinical models. Applicants need a PhD in a relevant biomedical discipline; experience with phages, microbial genetics, microbiome analysis or in vivo models is especially relevant.
