Poland survey: awareness of phage therapy is low, but 84% would use it

A questionnaire study of 1,098 people in Poland, from the Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy and colleagues, found antibiotic-resistance awareness above 90% but awareness of phage therapy between 8.9% and 39.7% depending on group. Readiness to use phage treatment was 84.4%, even if it must be paid for, while just over one third of physicians (37.5%) were ready to deepen their knowledge.
