PhageLab describes a platform for custom phage cocktails against Salmonella in poultry

PhageLab CEO Hans Pieringer says the company created an algorithm that evaluates the genome of Salmonella bacteria to identify small differences and understand specific serotypes, antibiotic resistance and pathology, which helps create tailored phage cocktails that could help poultry producers reduce disease in flocks.
