The Graduate School of Medicine at Osaka Metropolitan University hosts the English-language international symposium "Phage Therapy Against Superbugs: Towards Real World Implementation" on Saturday, November 8, 2025, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., to commemorate the opening of its Morinomiya Campus. Prof. Satoshi Uematsu speaks on the current status of phage therapy in Japan and initiatives at OMU, and invited speaker Prof. Steffanie Strathdee of UC San Diego's Center for Innovative Phage Applications and Therapeutics on establishing North America's first dedicated phage therapy center.
