phage community covid memo

The phage community may have a key role to play in the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Patients hospitalized with respiratory viruses including flu and this current coronavirus get bacterial co-infections, and these co-infections correlate with mortality. Not to mention, the AMR crisis is predicted to worsen as antibiotics are increasingly given to COVID-19 patients around the world.
