Phage cocktail reduces fire blight in pear flowers without altering the floral microbiome (Applied and Environmental Microbiology)

A phage cocktail targeting Erwinia amylovora, the cause of fire blight, greatly reduced pathogen numbers and disease symptoms in inoculated pear flowers without significantly altering the resident floral microbiome (Holtappels, Wu, Koskella and Roh, Applied and Environmental Microbiology).
