PBD Biotech's Actiphage test for Johne's Disease now available for alpacas, goats and sheep

PBD Biotech says its Actiphage phage-based blood test, which detects live mycobacteria, can now be used to test alpacas, sheep and goats for Johne's Disease. The company says Actiphage identifies live infection from a single milk or blood sample within hours and has been applied to blood samples from 17 species.
