PathCowork releases a pathology grounding model and research platform

PathCowork combines pathologists’ gaze, narration and slide navigation to train AI systems that locate findings in histology images. The authors provide platform code and a downloadable Qwen-based 27B grounding model in GGUF format, with outputs as labeled polygons or polylines. The accompanying preprint reports training data from 48 sessions with 16 pathologists. The Penn Academic Software License limits use to internal research or noncommercial purposes and restricts redistribution; this is a research release, not evidence of clinical deployment.
