FundingUS$37,000 annual stipend and US$16,000 education allowance for three supported years in a five-year fellowship.

NSF GRFP offers three years of support over five years for eligible research-based graduate study: a US$37,000 annual stipend and US$16,000 annual institutional education allowance in supported years. The life-sciences deadline is October 19, 2026 at 8pm Eastern. Basic biological research may qualify; directly human disease, therapy and drug-development projects are excluded, subject to the solicitation’s limited exceptions.
