Nadezhda Kolupaeva (State Research Center for Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, Russia) and colleagues published a new paper on diverse prophage content in A. baumannii and K. pneumoniae bloodstream isolates from patients in the ICU, including phage-derived depolymerases and esterases encoded in the genomes of the isolates.
