Master 2 internship: Nextflow pipeline for HBV and HDV variant genotyping from Nanopore data — Lyon

Internship of at least six months at UMR1350 PaThLiv (Lyon Hepatology Institute) to continue, optimise and generalise a Nextflow pipeline that genotypes hepatitis B and D virus variants from Oxford Nanopore long-read data: quality control, alignment, variant calling and consensus generation (including deep-learning algorithms), validation on simulated and real datasets, documentation, and participation in translational studies genotyping patient samples. Requires Nextflow and Docker, R or Python, and Unix skills; English is mandatory. Starts as soon as possible; applications are reviewed from the end of October 2026 until the position is filled, and the listing gives January 31, 2027 as its deadline.
