Jolien Onsea (University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium) and colleagues have published a study protocol in Viruses on phage therapy for difficult-to-treat infections. This article aims to address the scientific hurdles of phage therapy by using a multidisciplinary approach known as PHAGEFORCE protocol, bringing together the experience of clinical, pharmaceutical and molecular microbiology experts.
