ITCH-AMP: Italy–Switzerland Interreg project on AI-enhanced phages against biofilm infections

ITCH-AMP (Università del Piemonte Orientale, Precise Health SA and Adamastor Bioservices; Interreg VI-A Italy–Switzerland) is building a cross-border platform to design, produce and validate phage-based and protein-based antibiofilm agents, using AI and computational design. Its work includes phages against Staphylococcus aureus biofilms; the project has been active since January 2026.
