FundingMonthly stipend: €1,500 Trieste; US$1,122 New Delhi; ZAR16,500 Cape Town. Six months; travel, insurance and visa support.

African early/mid-career scientists could apply for six months of training in Italy, India or South Africa, with host-specific stipends, travel, insurance and visa support. Topics include AMR, pathogen biology and computational biology/AI. An expression of interest was due August 14; selected applicants’ full applications closed September 30, 2026, at 23:59 CET.
