PhD project "The Battle for Iron: How Bacterial Iron Scavenging Shapes Phage Infection", supervised by Dr Christian Jenul (Department of Genetics and Genome Biology, University of Leicester) through the BBSRC Midlands Integrative Biosciences Training Partnership (MIBTP). Applications for autumn 2027 entry are open until 23 November 2026, with interviews in late January or early February 2027. MIBTP awards cover UK tuition fees and a UKRI-rate stipend; up to 30% of awards can go to international students, whose fee difference UKRI does not cover.
