ENABLE-2 accepts expressions of interest from researchers at publicly funded universities and research institutes across Europe, including the UK, Norway and Switzerland. Its Hit-to-Lead programme provides expert advice, experimental platforms and funding for approved external assays, while applicants retain data and IP rights. It focuses on direct-acting antibiotic small molecules and eligible natural products against priority resistant bacteria. Applications are continuously open; March 12, 2027 is the cutoff for consideration at the April portfolio review. Begin with a non-confidential expression of interest.
