The University of Edinburgh’s AI for Biomedical Innovation CDT is accepting applications for its September 2027 intake, with at least 12 fully funded four-year PhD studentships spanning genomic medicine, biomedical imaging, cellular and molecular systems medicine, and health informatics. Funding covers tuition, a stipend and research/travel support for eligible applicants of any nationality; international visa and health-surcharge costs are excluded. Applicants need a relevant UK 2:1 degree or equivalent and must meet English-language requirements. Apply by January 20, 2027, at 13:00 UK time; projects are chosen after shortlisting.
