David Bikard named 2026 Richard Lounsbery Grand Prize laureate

The French Academy of Sciences lists David Bikard as the 2026 Richard Lounsbery Grand Prize laureate in its report on the October 27 awards session. Bikard, a research director at Institut Pasteur, studies bacteria–phage interactions and bacterial defense systems including CRISPR-Cas.
