Cytophage partnered with Dr. Marisa Azad at The Ottawa Hospital to deliver the first phage therapy in Canada for a patient with a severe hardware-associated joint infection. The phage treatment was produced by Cytophage, targeted Staphylococcus epidermidis, was delivered through an N of 1 clinical trial, and was approved by Health Canada and The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.
