Current Clinical Laboratory Challenges to Widespread Adoption of Phage Therapy in the United States
This review describes clinical laboratory barriers to phage therapy in the United States, including inconsistent susceptibility testing and selection, a lack of phage–antibiotic synergy testing, and limited standard methods for testing phage activity on biofilms.
