CNRS reviews France’s phage-therapy research and public production proposals
CNRS surveys how French researchers are developing phage therapy, from matching phages to individual infections and producing pharmaceutical-quality preparations to proposing a network of public manufacturing capacity. The article includes clinical, social-science and agricultural perspectives, and stresses that evidence of effectiveness for specific infections remains limited. Public infrastructure is presented as a proposal, not an established national service.
