Capsular specificity in temperate phages of Klebsiella pneumoniae is driven by diverse receptor-binding enzymes
The study links temperate-phage capsule specificity with diverse receptor-binding proteins, including classical depolymerases and SGNH-domain hydrolases predicted to deacetylate polysaccharides. The team also shared English and Polish comics of the discovery, created with illustrator Paweł Piechnik.
