BiomX announced positive results of a Phase 1a phage pharmacokinetic study for inflammatory bowel disease/primary sclerosing cholangitis; they showed they could safely and successfully deliver phages to the gut. This was the first clinical study detailing pharmacokinetics of oral phage therapy under a U.S. FDA IND protocol.
