Atlas Bio launches from stealth with $12.5 million for an AI foundation model for in-silico clinical trials
Swiss tech-bio firm Atlas Bio launched from stealth with a $10 million seed round led by Creandum and a previously unannounced pre-seed led by First Momentum Ventures and LEA Partners, $12.5 million in total. Its foundation model, trained on roughly 2 million RNA readouts from human tissue, aims to predict drug efficacy and safety in virtual patient cohorts; replacing Phase II trials is a stated aim, not a demonstrated result.
