Armata announces J Mol Biol structural study of its therapeutic phiKMV-like phage Ar-KM

Armata Pharmaceuticals announced a Journal of Molecular Biology paper, with Gino Cingolani's group at UAB, presenting a cryo-EM structural atlas of Ar-KM, a phiKMV-like phage targeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa (the AP-PA02 program). The work describes how the phage keeps its genome packaged before infection, an enzyme activity that helps it penetrate the cell envelope, and a protein that enables genome release.
