Andrzej Górski, head of the Hirszfeld Institute's Bacteriophage Laboratory, wins the Prime Minister's Award

Prof. Andrzej Górski, head of the Bacteriophage Laboratory at the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy (IIET PAS), is one of six recipients in the scientific-research category of the 33rd Prime Minister's Award. He was recognised for research on using bacteriophages against drug-resistant bacterial infections and their potential application in other pathologies, and for promoting ethical principles in science.
